Sarah and I met at the YFCP playgroup 2 years ago. We would bump into each other frequently at the library and at playgrounds. Because of the pandemic, I did not see her for almost a year and a half now. She always mentioned her son Logan and this was the first time I met the big guy. He truly had such a beautiful smile and was so affectionate.
During this shoot, I realized the value of an assistant can be to a photographer. Another participant of the Humans of Grafton MA project was helping me catch the attention of all the children and family while I capture those beautiful big smiles. She helped me made them comfortable.
